Making A Purchase
When You Are Ready To Use My Services
I have gone back and forth with the whole idea of posting rates as some clients may misunderstand what I am charging. In any case, please contact me directly for a customized price quote.
The first line of rates featured below are for my basic article packages. These articles are written on a limited number of topics (aviation, automotive, personal finance, and the like) and involve no research, no citing of sources, and no interviewing of outside parties to obtain quotes. In other words these are basic articles that typically take 1-2 hours for me to write, proofread, and edit.
Magazine quality articles are much more refined and are priced accordingly. Usually, I spend several days to several weeks developing, writing, proofing, and editing each article and prices are spelled out in a written contract.
General Rate Information
Rates for basic articles are 10 cents per word or a minimum of $50 per article. My personal authorship can be waived.
Pre-published works are charged according to a mutually agreed upon rate; I maintain all rights of authorship with proper attribution clearly given.
Magazine quality articles are developed at a rate of 50 cents to one dollar per word. This rate includes interviewing and citing all sources, listing references and related links, and extensive research, proofs, edits, etc. Related expenses to developing the article are charged separately.
Press releases are developed at prices beginning at $119 with no submission to online distributors. An additional charge will be incurred if you need me to assist you with online distribution.
Web content copywriting is charged at the same per word rate as magazine articles mentioned above.
I no longer develop complete web sites for clients, but I do build entire blogs. Please contact me for a personalized quote.
The cost of including photographs with any article or blog is a pass through expense.
