A Special Way To Help Out

"I like to give back, too, especially as I am a Christian who understands that writing is a gift and God is the One who has graciously bestowed that gift upon me."

I write a lot of articles -- hundreds per year, in fact. When you take into consideration the many different blogs I own or manage, it isn't difficult for me to write three, four or even five quality articles on any given day.

Naturally, I'm sensitive to how well I write as I don't want to be caught in the quantity v. quality mode. Indeed, my magazine articles are written over days -- if not weeks -- as I want my best work to "percolate" before I submit them.

I like to give back, too, especially as I am a Christian who understands that writing is a gift and God is the One who has graciously bestowed that gift upon me. I've developed several articles to help certain Christian ministries, organizations who are making a profound difference in the lives of so many people.

One such group I support is Compassion International, a child relief organization impacting the lives of more than one million children worldwide. I've been involved with Compassion for twenty years now, and am currently sponsoring a little girl who lives in Guatemala. Please read my Compassion Sunday article to learn more.

I appreciate your stopping by my site. Please visit my personal writing blog, Matt's Musings, to follow my current rants and raves or check out all of the different blogs I own or manage in that blog's sidebar under Blogroll.

Developing Article Proposals

My favorite article topics include automobiles, aviation, Christian themes/inspirational, personal finance, and travel. No, I don't limit myself to these areas, but they are the topics of most interest to me.

When selecting a writer, you want someone who actually enjoys writing about the subject, otherwise their lack of enthusiasm will come blazing forth.

On the side, I enjoy the occasional editing I do for Wikipedia as well as collaborting with other freelance writers via scoial media. Truly, some of the best writing minds are online; I'm glad to be able to work with.
